New look, new website: Unearthed Vintage

We’ve been at the edge of our seats waiting to debut our new and improved website and the time has finally come! A very special thanks to Ambert, Melissa and the rest of the team at Paradox Design Studio for creating the perfect design and virtual face to our name. We are also excited to announce that our new website is integrated with the inventory management software from R.W. Elephant. The official launch date will be Monday, August 26th. For now, here’s a partial snapshot of our main page.

The last table below is actually one of our custom cocktail tables that we made from solid cast iron bases and reclaimed white pine tops. One of the many details that sets us apart from other vintage rental companies in South Florida is that we only use reclaimed lumber for our table tops that is sometimes over 100 years old. Most of our reclaimed lumber comes from old barns in Tennessee that have been dismantled and repurposed.

We strive to maintain true to our passion by providing our clients with actual vintage furniture and custom pieces and not furniture that is new and made to look “vintage”. We hope that you can appreciate this effort and appreciate the true nature of our vintage collection.

Unearthed Vintage studio grand opening: blogged

Last month we had the pleasure of celebrating our first birthday and grand opening of our new studio space with over 100 of our closest {amazingly talented wedding vendor} friends.  The amazing food from Epicure, yummy desserts from Cloud 9 Bakery and Sugar Fancies, strawberry basil cocktails brought to life by Dimitri Sequeira, craft beer from Due South Brewing Company, a photo booth care of Sideshow Booth, all captured by my wonderful sister-in-law Jamie of Mayfly Photography – we could not have asked for a more amazing event.  Of course I cannot forget to thank our very gracious friends Stef and Eileen for being our behind-the-scenes execution and clean up crew, allowing Jovan and I to host while still enjoying ourselves and all of our company.

We want to thank everyone who attended and showed their support.  We met so many new faces (forgive us if we forgot any names!) and connected with so many great people.  We actually had so much fun that we’re thinking of doing it again!  {End of the season celebration, anyone?!}

I won’t write too much more because the best part has been captured in time thanks to Mayfly Photography.  Check out all the fun we had!

Happy Holidays and a big THANK YOU from us!

To say that 2012 has been amazing for us would be an understatement.  We opened our doors in January, celebrated our own wedding in February, and styled our first wedding in March.  What has happened since then has left us in a whirlwind.  As we opened our doors in January of 2012, our hope was that we were not the only lovers of vintage in South Florida and we would have at least a few events a month.  Now that we are in December of 2012 and we have a few events each weekend, we are amazed each day at the response we’ve had.  We want to say Thank You to each and every person that has helped us get here.

We are humbled by all of the vendors turned friends we have made in this industry, the followers we have who support everything that we do and the most amazing clients that any new company could ask for.  Perhaps client is not even the right word, as so many of you are now friends and we truly value the friendship and support that you have given us.

We want to leave everyone with a little holiday treat and to say Thank You  we would like to offer a 10% discount on all rentals if you book before December 31st!  Be sure to email us today to confirm your orders to get your holiday discount.

And for your viewing pleasure and a little holiday inspiration, we will leave you with the latest styled shoot we were so fortunate to be a part of, as seen on Southern Weddings.  Shot at the Cooper Estate, it was dreamed up and styled by Julia Rohde of Julia Rohde Designs, styled and coordinated by Shelley Cameron of Better Half Weddings, and photographed by the talented Michelle March of Michelle March Photography.  The shoot would have not come together without the amazing treats from Kristen at Cloud 9 Bakery, the gorgeous dress from Sasha at Sasha’s Bridal Boutique, the beautiful paper goods by Christie at Llorente Design, or the amazing film from Mike at Michael Burgos Films.
